Lance Vance, formally known as Fanom, was born on February 10th 1991 in Bucharest, Romania. He moved to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada when he was only 1 year old. He started out as a rapper at age 13, which is when he wrote his first ever verse. 2010 would be the year he decided to finally start taking his music career seriously. His first project was released in 2012 titled “Love Me For Me”. Since then he’d been releasing singles and videos on YouTube, building his fan base and even landed a collaboration with New York City’s very own Troy Ave back in 2017. After taking 3 years off from music to learn the business, he’s back in 2020 with a larger catalog and the devotion to releasing a song every single week. In the first 2 weeks of releasing his music (implementing what he had learned from his 3 year hiatus) he rebranded himself as “Lance Vance” and he was able to gain 20k streams within the first 2 weeks of releasing his first single in 2020. For the first time in his 10 years music career pursuit, he’s finally noticing a constant upward trajectory all across the board. From his Instagram, Spotify, Twitter, to his YouTube channel he’s definitely stirring up the conversation and fans are very eager to see what his next move is.
