Nato Poppins is a songwriter and performer from Fillmore, CA, in Ventura County now relocated to San Jose, CA. He grew up in an area dominated by a landscape of boom-bap artists, which often causes music of other styles to be overshadowed. Nato has written poems and songs since he was eight years old. In his late teens, he became a Spoken Word poet and performed his poetry in front of small and large crowds alike. However, it wasn't until 2018 that he collaborated with his brother Scaasi and released his first single. The two have since launched their Broken Masterpiece x No Wasted Talent, which embraces the pressures of life and how that pressure leads to beautiful art. Nato tries to ensure he is continually moving forward and developing as an artist. Nato believes art is meant to capture the imagination and inspire people that a better future is possible.
