LEE CHANHYUK is a producer under YG Entertainment and a member of the acclaimed duo AKMU.
He first captured the public’s attention in 2013 as the winner of SBS’s audition program KPOP STAR 2, showcasing his fresh ideas and impressive songwriting and composing skills. Since officially debuting with AKMU’s first full-length album [PLAY] in 2014, he has built a remarkable career, creating numerous hit songs with his unique vocal color and outstanding production abilities.
In 2022, he began his journey as a solo artist 'LEE CHANHYUK' with the release of his debut album [ERROR]. The album highlighted his growth as a vocalist and left a lasting impression by blending raw, honest emotion with philosophical introspection through music. He continued to push creative boundaries with the surprise release of his single [1 TRILLION] at the start of the new year, further defining his distinct artistic identity.
Now, with the release of his second solo album [EROS] on July 14, 2025, LEE CHANHYUK delves deeper into the emotional aftermath of losing someone dear. The album explores the void that loss creates and the complex emotions and reflections that come with it -unfolded through a variety of musical expressions. His now more refined and cohesive artistic universe offers a compelling and immersive experience for music fans.
