"A Native american came from a future videogame to steal your soul".
Born in 2016, Light Whales are the brainchild of Jack Pallaver. The project came to life with the completion of their debut album "Feel Alone with the Science," an entirely self-produced work created using only "modest" means. Recorded at home with a cellphone, a computer, and an SM57 microphone, the album echoes the sounds of MGMT, Beck, and the alternative indie vibes of the 2000s.
To bring the album to the stage, Jack sought the help of local musicians he admired: Sebastiano Cecchini, Matteo Tomaselli, Andrea Garofalo, Jack Toniolli and Giovanni Rasera. After a few years of intense live activity, the band took a break to focus on producing a second album, once again crafted solo and home-made.
In 2024, Light Whales return with "Death to the Whales." This new chapter for the band is a sonic journey that expands and enriches their musical experience.
