Isaac Howlett is a British-born musician living in Linz, Austria. He's best known as the singer/songwriter behind internationally renowned synthpop band Empathy Test, with whom he wrote and released 3 studio albums between 2017 & 2020.
After successful collabs with Bop x Subwave ("Storm in a Teacup") & Aesthetic Perfection ("Save Myself"), Isaac released his 1st solo single, "House of Cards", on 28.2.24. It reached #1 on the German Alternative Chart (DAC) and #2 in the best-selling synthpop tracks on Bandcamp.
Isaac Howlett's 2nd solo single, "Endless Night", arrived 13.12.24, scoring Isaac a 2nd DAC #1. USA-based Synthpop Fanatic included it in their "10 Best Synthpop Songs of December", praising its "beautiful vocals", while the UK's Blitzed Magazine described it as "an ethereal gem".
In April '25, Isaac made his solo live debut supporting Devision Redux at 3 shows in Germany. Reflections of Darkness (DE) said one could "literally feel the enormous potential". In September, he co-headlined Echoes of Rebellion Festival in Cologne with Ist Ist (UK).
On 3.10.25, Isaac released 3rd solo single, Eggshell, which debuted at #1 on the DAC. It also reached #13 (DE), #15 (SE) and #31 (ES) in the iTunes Alt. Chart. "Ghosts of the Tsunami" entered the DAC 3 weeks later, giving him 2 simultaneous top 20 tracks. Ghosts later reached #1, making it 4 out of 4 number ones so far, for the rising solo star.
