Linnea Dale first caught the public eye at just 16 years old after reaching the finale of Norwegian Idol in 2007. Her unique voice was quickly noticed, and she was soon invited to collaborate with the band Donkeyboy. The result was a string of smash hits like “Ambitions” and “Sometimes”. Both singles topped the Norwegian charts in 2009, and “Ambitions” was nominated for three Norwegian Grammy Awards, winning «Hit Of The Year» and «Newcomer Of The Year». The song also reached no. 1 in Sweden and charted across Europe, leading to extensive touring and widespread media exposure.

In 2010, Dale launched her solo career and has since released four critically acclaimed albums, participated in the Norwegian Eurovision finale with 'High Hopes'—which earned a strong second place—and appeared on the popular national TV show Hver Gang Vi Møtes.

In 2025, Linnea Dale returns to the spotlight with a celebrated appearance on NRK’s Stjernekamp earlier this spring and an upcoming national tour with her full band on stage. Marking a new and more personal chapter in her career, she also releases her first Norwegian-language single, “Lille Raringen Min”—a tender and honest reflection on early parenthood, and the first glimpse of her upcoming album “Korthus», featuring dreamy, organic production and poetic storytelling in her native language.
