Elvira Nikolaisen
(1980) is a Norwegian artist, singer and (song) writer. She debuted with the album Quiet Exit in 2006, and followed up with two more solo albums on Sony Music; Indian Summer (2008) and Lighthouse (2011). In 2013 Elvira collaborated with jazz trumpeter Mathias Eick, on the album I Concentrate On You; a personal collection of jazz standards. Elvira grew up in Moi in Rogaland as part of a musical family; Emil, Ivar and Hilma are renowned colleagues. (Every day I’m) Born Again is released as sheet music, published by Norsk Musikkforlag. The album, which Elvira refers to as «a labour of love not in vain», is produced by the artist.
