He started on the underground scene as a rapper and street emcee back in early 2000. From roots to future music, his passion & creation relates to his life, experiences, and foundation, musically preaching to his local and digital community along with his authenticity.
He inherited the foundation from his uncle, one of the respected Artists/Producers in the scene I-Dren Artstrong also known as the youngest brother of his Actor/Director father, Dinky Doo.
Lion-i traveled nationally performing in events, concerts, and campaigns throughout. He had a few appearances in several Local & International Indie Films, TV Shows, and Commercial Ads back in childhood.
Came 2009 onwards, Lion-i started rocking the mic in several local bars in the metro. His creativity and passion for music became deeper and broader which perseveres him to learn and understand the engineering side of sound and visual production, which led him to create genuine art. He had a radio show titled Coast2Coast aired by MyRadioBlog back in 2011, and released his record Behind Di Riddim in 2016 along with several Singles all throughout the years.
