Lipona is a skate punk quartet from Tallahassee that combines melodic hardcore, ambient, and post-hardcore music. Their discography includes their 2008 debut album "Atlas," followed by their critically acclaimed 2009 EP "Pigeonholed," and their 2012 release (and remastered 2024 re-release) "Networks." While their earlier releases featured outward-looking and pseudo-philosophical themes, "Networks" took a more personal direction, exploring topics like coping with loss and balancing musical ambition with the transition into adulthood. The band consists of Sean Boote (Guitar), Yamil Velez (Vocals), and Roy Morlock (Drums).
