Lisa Scott-Lee is best known as one-fifth of UK pop group Steps. The band have scored fourteen consecutive top 5 singles, sold over 20 million records and reached Number One with four albums and three singles. They are BRIT award winning and hold the record for the most consecutive sold-out nights at Wembley.
After the band's initial run of success, Lisa embarked on a solo career that yielded the top ten single 'Lately' plus the hits 'Too Far Gone' and 'Electric'.
To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Steps returned in 2017 with the Silver certified new studio album Tears On The Dancefloor which charted at #2, the iTunes #1 single Scared Of The Dark and embarked on Party On The Dancefloor, a huge UK arena tour. The band have continued to tour arenas and to release new music including the Sia-penned ‘What The Future Holds’ in 2020 and the Michelle Visage duet ‘Heartbreak In This City’ in 2021, They scored a further two #2 charting UK albums with ‘What The Future Holds’ and ‘What The Future Holds Pt 2’ then in 2022 released the #1 album ‘Platinum Collection’ joining ABBA, Rolling Stones and Stereophonics as the only groups in UK history to score #1 albums in four consecutive decades.
Lisa currently lives in Dubai where she is the managing director of the Dubai Performing Arts Academy alongside her husband Johnny Shentall. The couple have two children, Jaden and Star Lily.
