Sophie Monk rose to prominence as a member of the girl group Bardot after success in the Australian reality television series Popstars. Bardot became the first Australian act to debut at the No. 1 position with both their debut single ‘Poison’ and self-titled debut album and are still the most successful Australian girl group in Australia. Sophie relocated to LA in 2005 to focus on acting. She appeared in films such as Date Movie (2006), Click with Adam Sandler (2006) and Spring Breakdown (2009) and also made her American television debut with a role in the HBO series Entourage.
