Lorenz's style runs through all the different things he’s working on: EP’s on Compost (talkbox classic ‚Back‘), Exploited (single of the month in Mixmag) and Dirt Crew (#1 on Traxsource); Co-writing the Detroit Swindle album ‚High Life‘, frequently collaborating with Purple Disco Machine. As a live artist he toured the world solo and with DS, Jamie Lidell or PDM, opening for Jamiroquai with the latter.
A big synth nerd, Lorenz finds great joy working as a sound designer for legendary manufacturer Sequential, and his quirky talkbox styles racked up millions of views on his Daft Punk cover or „How to Talkbox“ edutational.
Since 2016 - for something completely different - he’s musical director of German TV late night ‚ZDF Magazin Royale‘ with 15-piece orchestra RTO Ehrenfeld. Arrangements written for & performed with Lizzo, MGMT, Father John Misty, Woodkid, Rilès and many more.
Most recently he and Lars Dales launched their new duo Sound Support with EP’s on Permanent Vacation or Toy Tonics, with a ton of new songs due to release soon!
