Lottie Brazier is a songwriter, illustrator and writer based in London. She previously worked as a music journalist, writing for publications like The Guardian, Pitchfork, The Wire and The Quietus.

Her debut single 'Washing Machine' was co-produced, mixed and mastered by artist and producer William Doyle (who has worked with Brian Eno, Laura Misch) in his studio in Hoxton. The song lyrics are mostly impressionistic, but 'Washing Machine' was loosely inspired by a friend undergoing treatment for a life threatening illness, as well as fears about the future of healthcare in the UK.

The music video/accompanying art film for 'Washing Machine' was produced and directed by non-binary performance artist and filmmaker Lou Lou Sainsbury, whose work has been shown at Nottingham Contemporary and has upcoming work at the Tate Modern.

Its single cover features an illustration designed by Lottie Brazier. Press shots by Laura McIntyre.

'Washing Machine' is distributed via The state51 Conspiracy.
