サウンドクラウドやツイッターを中⼼に話題を呼んだ。2015年に1stアルバム「#ラブリーミュージック」、2016年11⽉にはメジャーデビューアルバム「LSC」をリリースし好評を博す。2020年9⽉、待望の3rdアルバム「THE THIRD SUMMER OF LOVE」を発売。2024年8⽉公開の⼭⽥尚⼦監督・脚本のショートアニメーション『Garden of Remembrance』の⾳楽を担当。

Born in 1995, based in Tokyo.
The artist name “Lovely Summer Chan” comes from her real name, Aika Imaizumi: “Ai (愛)” = “Lovely” and “Natsu (夏)” = “Summer.”
Drawing inspiration from 90s rock and filtering it through her innate pop sensibility, she presents a form of rock that feels fresh and current within Japan’s music scene.
She began making music at home in the summer of 2013, sharing her work online. Her songs quickly gained attention on SoundCloud and Twitter. In 2015, she released her first album “#LovelyMusic,” followed by her major debut album “LSC” in November 2016, both of which were met with acclaim. In September 2020, she released her long-awaited third album “THE THIRD SUMMER OF LOVE.”
In August 2024, she composed the soundtrack for director Naoko Yamada’s short animated film Garden of Remembrance. And on January 29, 2025, she released her much-anticipated original mini-album “Music For Walking (Out Of The Woods).”
