A wily hardcore punk rock trio with a penchant for dialing in thick blasts of vintage <a href="spotify:artist:2ye2Wgw4gimLv2eAKyk1NB">Metallica</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7LuYiSXiWs86rwWJjEEgB9">Mudhoney</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6olE6TJLqED3rqDCT0FyPh">Nirvana</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:267VY6GX5LyU5c9M85ECZQ">Dinosaur Jr.</a>-era grunge, Brooklyn's Low Fat Getting High describe their sound as "post-noise-grunge-core-shredding." Formed in 2011, the band consists of frontman/guitarist Michael Sincavage, bass player Artie Tan, and drummer Kaleen Reading, all of whom were frustrated N.Y.C. musicians that met via classified ads on Craigslist.
