Luc Van Acker’s musical career only lasted 10 years from the age of 17y. to 27y. (1978-1988) during which he released 2 Solo albums ("Taking Snapshots" & "The Ship") + 1 EP ("ZAS buddhist") and contributed to many bands like Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Shriekback!, Arbeid Adelt!, Spine Grinder, Jo Lemaire, Red Zebra, Neon Judgement, Front 242 and many others…
Resulting in over 200 songs and a 100 albums! (“ an Industrial pioneer “ : quote Joey Jordison "Slipknot")
But the most memorable songs are “Zanna” with Anna Domino, “Attack Ships” with Revolting Cocks and “Death Disco” with Arbeid Adelt!.
He was a recording artist for EMI, WAX TRACKS, PIAS, BMG, WARNER, CAPITOL, VIRGIN RECORDS and ANTLER SUBWAY.
Later he set up 2 Music labels (“World Domination EU & USA on Capitol with Dave Allen” (GO4) and “Les enfants terribles! BMG EU”(Millionaire)).
He also worked as a studio-manager at “Galaxy Studios, Louis Studio and Synsound Studio (Dan Lacksman 's place TELEX).
Than he became a Teacher at PXL MUSIC Hasselt, Belgium (a school for music managers, musicians and engineers 3y Bachelor).
These days you can find him in the smallest city in the world “DURBUY” where he contributes to a specialized songwriting Studio www.durbuymusic.com
Due to poor health conditions there will be no live performances or touring.
