Lucia Micarelli is a violinist, vocalist, and actor known for her emotional depth and genre-defying artistry. Trained at The Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music under Dorothy DeLay and Pinchas Zukerman, she has appeared with orchestras around the world and performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, and the Sydney Opera House.
Alongside her classical work, Micarelli has toured globally with Josh Groban, Chris Botti, and Barbra Streisand, and starred in HBO’s Treme and Hallmark’s The Christmas Bow. Her 2018 PBS special An Evening with Lucia Micarelli introduced her multi-genre concert work to a national audience and launched a solo touring career that continues to evolve.
With six albums and a growing body of film and TV scoring work, Micarelli’s performances span concert halls, screens, and festivals—bridging tradition and innovation. Her latest project, Anthropology, explores the cultural and emotional connections between classical and folk music, inviting audiences into a powerful musical reflection on memory, identity, and shared humanity.
