Luciana Mello was born in São Paulo, Brazil and started in music with 5 years old, recording with her father, <a href="spotify:artist:7K4gHixgiMhvBDewgHoxVk" data-name="Jair Rodrigues">Jair Rodrigues</a> . Since then , Luciana has dedicated her life to arts, by studying music, dance, theater and musical theater. Her first solo album, “Luciana Rodrigues”, came in 1996.
In 1998 she joined <a href="spotify:playlist:0ghMqOXXsdlarzcPo4btYo" data-name="PedroMariano">PedroMariano</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2xhtX9ufvSwDbiH9VQ8pHr" data-name="Wilson Simoninha">Wilson Simoninha</a>, Daniel Carlomagno, <a href="spotify:artist:2R66z213mp5GWy6iF1aqZn" data-name="Max de Castro">Max de Castro</a> and her brother <a href="spotify:artist:1kuKDHZD1oPXwVZviVgRbV" data-name="Jair Oliveira">Jair Oliveira</a> in the project <a href="spotify:artist:6zYCYplYzYlBoxJEUCTzjd" data-name="Projeto Artistas Reunidos">Projeto Artistas Reunidos</a>. Produced by Mr. Oliveira, she released the albums “Assim Que Se Faz” in 2000, which sold more than 200k copies; “Olha Pra Mim” (feat. Pedro Mariano & <a href="spotify:playlist:7Jq4FY0otghKeLk49dRFqY" data-name="EdMotta">EdMotta</a> ) in 2002; “L.M” (2004) and <a href="spotify:album:6ykJfpSoEWoAmcklLwUXvu" data-name="Nêga">Nêga</a> (2007) (featuring <a href="spotify:artist:5BWqFYIPTnFx3OPWOoJvmD" data-name="Gabriel O Pensador">Gabriel O Pensador</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2Js5EdWOVgL2B2CbtXr5n1" data-name="Thalles Roberto">Thalles Roberto</a> ). In 2009 came The cd/dvd “O Samba Me Cantou”, together with Jair Oliveira.
In 2011 came <a href="spotify:album:0ogZ3uwGtMP96qBDYfj9oQ" data-name="6º Solo">6º Solo</a> produced by Otávio de Moraes, featuring her father Jair Rodrigues and <a href="spotify:artist:2GBDOaCl73BVUs2RerIme7" data-name="Corneille">Corneille</a> (in the French track “Couleur Café”). In 2016 Luciana released her first only “samba” album, <a href="spotify:album:1h8ZdC9eFqTjySkTsMvyl3" data-name="Na Luz do Samba">Na Luz do Samba</a> produced by Walmir Borges and dedicated to her father. It was nominated as as best samba album in The Latin Grammy 2017!
Luciana Mello is considered one of the greatest Brazilian singers of all times and consistently impresses audiences with her live performances.
