Luis Marte

Luis Marte has been blessed with a long career in the music business as an artist, songwriter, music mix engineer and producer. He got his start in the early days of Artistik Recordings as a member of the Freestyle Duo “On2” who went on to record classic singles and ultimately an album entitled "Can We Go Back" on AVP Records. Shortly there after, Luis ventured outside of the Freestyle Dance genre to form a Pop Boy Band of his own named Strange WayZ. SWayZ went on to record multiple singles which landed them a deal with Hollywood Records (A Disney Company) and on tour with Pop group 98 Degrees. They later landed an opportunity to star in their own Disney Channel special along side Latin Pop Sensation Enrique Iglesias.

As the Latin Explosion and Boy Band phenomenon of the early 2000’s faded, Luis found him self behind the scenes penning songs for some successful artist like Toby Love and Leslie Grace, popular artist in the Latin Bachata scene. Today Luis works closely with many popular Freestyle Dance artist including TKA, Giggles, Nyasia, Andy Panda, Tony Moran in a quest to infuse a fresh new sound into a genre that has stood the test of time.
