Luke Daniels

British folk singer/songwriter and renowned multi-instrumentalist Luke Daniels began his career in the mid-'90s with the release of his debut instrumental collection Tarantella. His own recordings as a frontman made him a star of the traditional folk world and his virtuoso command of the melodeon led to a variety of session gigs over the years with artists like <a href="spotify:artist:7871fSXc37bZiC4UXaY35j">Ian Anderson</a>, De Dannan, <a href="spotify:artist:7MRWNE1dN3o6bPMLPH0c3h">Cara Dillon</a>, Frank Kilkelly, and the touring company of Riverdance. He has toured the world with a variety of acts and performed with his own band at prestigious venues like the London Jazz Festival and the Royal Festival Hall. He's even worked alongside composer <a href="spotify:artist:0OcclcP5o8VKH2TRqSY2A7">Howard Shore</a> and the London Philharmonic on the soundtracks for Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. After multiple instrumental releases and over two decades as a sought-after session player, Daniels switched his focus to guitar and piano, beginning a dramatic shift that would see him reinvent himself as a singer/songwriter.
