Lunar Call

Lunar Call are a duo based in Genoa, Italy.

Life exists and moves in balance. This dynamic balance is related to the complementary nature of opposites: composition and improvisation are equally important in this work, as well as words and music. Bettina and Claudio tune their melodies over the lyrics, adaption of Bettina's Italian and English poems.

In 1994, Mariani joined the funk and alternative rock band <a href="spotify:artist:3fhXlP49sgDSp5GItVFbXR" data-name="Blindosbarra">Blindosbarra</a> releasing three studio albums (two of these produced by DGP Entertainment and BMG Ricordi, the third self-produced with DGP Entertainment).
Since 1996 he played at hundreds of concerts and TV appearances, in Italy and abroad: 2 MTV Day in Italy, 1997 (U2 Popmart Tour) and 1998. Concerto del Primo Maggio in Rome, Piazza San Giovanni (&#39;96) and MTV Brand New Tour (&#39;02).

Bettina is an actress, singer and poet. She has many theatre appearances with comedies and musical projects involving poetry.

Influences range:
from David Bowie to Massive Attack, from Led Zeppelin to Bill Laswell, passing through funk, rock and trip-hop.
