Alex DeWade Gilmore A.k.a Lxx was born October in Memphis, TN. He is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Although he spent most of his childhood on the outskirts of Memphis, as he grew older, he made many friends within the city. Over the years, he has not only been influenced by various mainstream artists, but has had the pleasure of working closely with them as well. Specifically, he has done special projects with MJG (Eightball and MJG), and performed as an opening act for Anthony Hamilton.


Lxx has a deep passion for the different aspects of music. He is especially interested in song writing and the logistics of how the music industry operates. Over the years, Lxx has continued his journey in music by turning his own personal experiences into song. He continues to express life through song with his smooth yet edgy voice. He is an artist that brings authenticity, zeal, and unprecedented energy for today’s industry.
