Mallika Barot is a Bombay-based vocalist and vocal arranger with a stylistic blend of R&B, pop and rock. Starting in 2014, she has been actively singing with various musicians from the Indian music industry, both as a lead and backing vocalist. Noteworthy musicians that she has toured with include A.R Rahman, Lucky Ali and Prateek Kuhad. The daughter of renowned drummer-composer Ranjit Barot and granddaughter of Kathak legend Sitara Devi, Mallika has always been surrounded by the arts and music, and did her first formal training at The True School of Music, later joining its faculty from 2016 to 2021. Since then, Mallika has done several further collaborations, both singing and arranging, within the Bombay indie music industry, and is currently producing her own debut E.P.
