Marcanum X

Marcanum X is a hip hop artist and producer from Salt Lake City, Utah. Drawing inspiration from iconic hip hop artists and classical composers of the modern age, he is best known for his technical lyricism, freestyling ability, and witty wordplay used to convey impactful messages through complex topics that resonate with listeners around the world, especially during difficult times.

Rapping since junior high, he began his career in 2011 with the hip hop groups Sons of Chaos, Shadow People, and Team PunX. In 2013, he released his first album, “Quantum Chaotica”, which is notable for its atmospheric synthesizers and blend of 1990s hip hop elements with modernized sound. After taking a hiatus to pursue higher education, Marcanum X resumed his music career in 2020 as a solo artist. He was a top-10 contender in the 2022 Anno Domini Nation competition featuring Tech N9ne for his song “Against All Odds.”

He is currently working on a new album scheduled for a 2025 release titled, “N.A.T.E.” featuring production from himself, Domingo, Johnny Slash, The White Shadow of Norway, Junior Makhno, and more.
