Marco Bosco

Marco Bosco, percussionist, with 16 solo albums since 1980. Worked as studio musician for TV, radio commercials and with many great artists, such as musician & producer in the Grammy album Randy in Brazi (2009) and the album Raiz (2012) by the Brazilian singer Leila Pinheiro, nominated to the Latin Grammy. Also worked in live performances or recordings with artists as Nina Simone, Sergio Mendes, Hank Jones, Paul Jackson Oscar-Castro-Neves, George Michael, Fred Wesley, Raul de Souza, Airto Moreira, Flora Purim, Egberto Gismonti, Cesar Camargo Mariano, Leny Andrade, Alaide Costa, Flávio Venturini, Dianne Reeves, Bob Mintzer, Randy Brecker, Ronnie Cubber, Simon Lebon, Toninho Horta, Gary Bartz, Sadao Watanabe, Moacir Santos, Ivan Lins, Sebastião Tapajós,RPM Dominguinhos, Raul Seixas, Sá & Guarabyra, Belchior and many other great artists in Brazil and abroad.
In 2015 released the album Online, a duo with the producer, keyboardist and composer Paulo Calasans partners for over 40 years .
In2016/17 with his Balaio Quartet a tour in Hong Kong, China and Europe with the show Balaio Invites Randy Brecker.” In 2018 Balaio released his debut album with the participation of Randy Brecker, Nils Landgren, Mike Stern and the Brazilian artist Zeca Baleiro, also tour Mike Stern. In 2024 the album Em Canto . 2025 the álbum Em Toque, and a collection Puritik Îbi and remix of his classic album Metalmadeira of 1983 by Barbara Boeing, Alter Disco at Soundway Records in England.
