Mark Smith grew up in Southeast Mo, and Northeast Ar., the youngest son of an Accountant and Music Teacher. By age 10 Mark had a guitar in his hands and was trying to emulate everything he heard. By high school and college he was in multiple band situations and eventually moved to Nashville TN where he lived from 2003 to 2014 working day jobs while playing nights and weekends with various artists and local bands. Songwriting and singing were always lowest on the priority list as Playing was the number one pursuit.
That being said, occasionally the spark would hit and he penned his first Album in 2009 (6 months on Richmond). Since 2014 Mark was back in AR. and still wrote and played while working in the Insurance Industry.
After a tragic loss in 2021 ( Girlfriend to Cancer ) Mark decided to dive back into his music in order to reconnect with himself and heal. This latest release ( LoneWolf ) is a self produced Album of all Original songs written between 2014 and 2022.
