A short-lived studio group led by Brooklyn-based Juice Crew affiliate Masta Ace, Masta Ace Incorporated featured Leschea, Lord Digga, Paula Perry, and brothers Eyce and Uneek. The collective released two albums for the Delicious Vinyl label, both of which put dents in the Billboard 200 chart -- remarkable for uncompromising, independently released rap recordings. The debut, 1993's SlaughtaHouse, was novel for its clever synthesis of West Coast and East Coast elements. A second album, the darker and slower yet relatively slick Sittin' on Chrome, followed in 1995. The members were subsequently active with other projects. During the early 2010s, both albums were reissued in expanded form. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
