Matthew Puckett is an award winning songwriter, producer and playwright. Originally from New York City, Matthew currently lives in Los Angeles. He has written songs with bands and artists such as: Rogue Wave, The Mowgli’s, Marsha Ambrosius, Jeremy Jordan, Kris Allen and Garrison Starr among others.
Matthew’s latest release, Hollywood Songs #2 includes a brand new song “Love on a Wheel”: a pop-soul throwback guaranteed to lift your spirits like it’s 2006 and you’re listening to “Put your Records On” by Corinne Bailey Rae and “Unwritten” by Natasha Beddingfield. Inspired by friends that were affected by the January 2025 wildfires, “Love on a Wheel” is a ray of sunshine committed to spreading love from “Alta Dena to the Palisades”.
“Love on a Wheel” features Erik Kertes on bass (Michael Buble), Bella Hicks and Cat Fray on backing vocals and Grammy Award winner Gregoire Maret (Meshell Ndegeocello, Cassandra Wilson) on harmonica.
