Mattia Greggio is an Italian pianist born in Verona on July 4th 1991. He has always been a lover of music and has been enchanted by the piano since childhood. He began his studies at the Verona Conservatory at the age of 6 but interrupted for reasons of force majeure at the age of 15. However, he does not abandon music and not even the study of the piano, which he decides to continue as a self-taught, at the same time approaching the world of composition.
He begins to make his first covers of several songs of various musical genres starting from one always with an empty score and headphones in his ears. Each melodic and harmonic point was carefully analyzed in order to understand the particular mechanisms that hide behind a piece of music.
Slowly the very first compositions come to life. These are very simple pieces both harmonically and melodically, and then give life to more and more articulated pieces.
His shyness and his being introverted made sure that his composition remained "hidden".
In 2019 he began to experiment in the production of multi-instrumental music through the use of VST, creating the first song "Before Sleep" which pushes him to improve himself more and more in orchestral music, especially in epic music. As of June 2021 he has started collaborating with the Yellow Rose Records label.
From 2023 he becomes a curator of playlists whose requests can be managed through various companies, including SubmitHub: https://www.submithub.com/coupon/mattia1008
