Set to tape in 1983, “Bound For Hell” appeared on Max Havoc’s eponymous first and final album. With a lineup that featured Quiet Riot guitarist Carlos Cavazo, W.A.S.P. drummer Tony Richards, and vocalist/harmonicist Patrick McKeon, plus Black Sabbath’s Bill Ward in an associate producer role, Max Havoc stalked the strip from’ 81-’87. Despite the attentions their Hollywood peers were earning, Max Havoc wasn’t about to go glam any more than they’d passed on punk a few years earlier. “We're more like Aerosmith or the Rolling Stones, traditional rock ‘n’ roll,” McKeon said.
