Max Savage (<a href="spotify:artist:23NIwARd4vPbxt3wwNnJ6k" data-name="Parquet Courts">Parquet Courts</a>), didn’t even come up with the name Maxband, because this is no self-indulgent solo project. Trading drums for guitar, Savage shares songwriting and vocal duties with bassist Patrick Smith (<a href="spotify:artist:5Kbx8AkkM7259YdQh4rTdX" data-name="A Beacon School">A Beacon School</a>), guitarist Tim Nelson, and drummer Eric Read. Since releasing their Top of the Stairs EP in 2020, Maxband has shared the stage with acts including A Place to Bury Strangers, Sports Team, KennyHoopla and more. Now three years later, they’re back and better than ever, with their debut album finally imminent.
