Meduza is a neoclassical power metal band that was founded in 2000 by guitarist Stefan Berg, who proceeded to surround himself with fellow Swedes Jan Larsson (keyboards), Jonas Edström (bass), and Ola Gronlund (drums), as well as Greek-born vocalist Apollo Papathanasio (of symphonic metal band Majestic). Two albums followed, with 2002's Now and Forever and 2004's Upon the World .
Now in 2021 Stefan Berg is back with a new line up with bass player Magnus Ljung (Hexenhaus), drummer Stefan Sandberg(Disregard the blood) and vocalist Erik EZ Blomkvist (Ki, ex Platitude, ex Dreamscape ex Seven Thorns).
