Dubbed as the "Rasta Rockstar", who hails from a musical lineage, Melekú is burning red hot. Born as Melech Miguel-Kayodeye Collins, son to popular reggae singer Sizzla Kalonji ,on the March 21st, 1997; the millennial child continues to ignite our hearts. Known for his melodious phrases and explosive delivery, Melekú keeps his audience wanting more. His first attempts at only 18 years old showed signs of a promising career. However, when popular group Major Lazer went on to repost "Right Place" back in 2015, his career officially kicked off. It was clear a new star was on the horizon, but one not new to fame & spotlight. Like the father like the son; both managed to land themselves at number 4 on the Billboard Reggae Charts, with the compilation project "Life Of A Ghetto Youth, Chapter 2".
Its safe to say the apple didn't fall far from the tree! Meleku has now released his sophomore proejct, For The Thrill Of It, blending dancahall beats with first class vocals to create a listening experience with universal appeal. The future's looking bright.
