By far the most celebrated and successful Latin Boy Band of all time, Menudo was relaunched in 2023 by Mario Lopez and Menudo Productions, LLC. The current stars of Menudo are Alejandro Querales, Andres Pirela, and Gabriel Rossell, Janvier Flores, and Zaulo Enchautegui. Querales, Pirela, and Rossell are all from Venezuela. Flores and Enchautegui are from Puerto Rico.
Menudo’s first single, “Mi Amore,” was released on March 20, 2023, when the group was revealed on ABC’s GOOD MORNING AMERICA, followed by appearances on NBC, CBS, Fox, Nickelodeon, Univision, Telemundo, Televisa, TV Azteca, and over a dozen radio stations. Menudo’s second single, “Feelin’,” became their first Billboard Top 25 Latin Pop radio hit, totaling over ten million YouTube views. Menudo’s Kids Choice nomination from Nickelodeon, along with the group’s spectacular performances at iHeart’s Fiesta Latina, the 116th Street Festival in New York, and at the Roxy in Los Angeles, has re-established Menudo as the world’s premier Latin Boy band.
Menudo was originally formed in Puerto Rico in 1977 and is responsible for launching the careers of GRAMMY winner Ricky Martin and Latin GRAMMY winner Robi “Draco” Rosa. The group’s biggest hits were “Claridad,” “Subete a Mi Moto,” and “If You’re Not Here (By My Side).”
