Fandango a Mexican girl pop group formed in 1984 . 5 girls from Monterrey, MX. They taped and released their first music album under EMI music.
In 1987 they charted with their smash hit “Autos, Moda y Rock and Roll” The group set a dressing trend among teenagers in Mexico at the time. The track is featured on the Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack.

Fandango dissolved in late 1991. EMI then decided to reissue 3 of the 5 Fandango albums in
their original disc formatting and in a new digital format, achieving high online sales.
In 2019, four of Fandango’s members decided to regroup. Alexa, Anabella, Rocío and
Sandra are currently recording a new album, which will be released shortly via
Ingrooves, a subsidiary of Universal Music; which now owns all of Fandango’s music catalog.
