Mercy Bell is a queer Filipino-American folk singer and songwriter. She has independently released 3 albums: "All Good Cowboys", "Mercy Bell", and "Golden Child". Her music has been featured on NPR, in Paste Magazine, American Songwriter, Rolling Stone Country, and more. She’s been an official showcase artist at Americanafest, SXSW, Nashville Pride, and Mission Creek Music Festival.
She is currently co-writing the new musical "Leather Daddies" in development at About Face Theatre, a rock opera about the underground gay sexual revolution in 1950s/60s Chicago.
She grew up in California and Massachusetts. After college she moved to New York City to pursue music. She eventually made it to Nashville (after a jaunt in Arkansas), where she lives with her incredible cat Gonzo.
