Mestizo Beat is an instrumental group based out of Los Angeles offering the next wave of West Coast Latin Funk. Inspired by the 1960's - 1970’s era of funk & soul, Mestizo Beat mixes afro-latin rhythms with deep grooves and psychedelic overtones that has developed into the bands signature sound. Formed by two brothers, guitarist Aquiles “Lito” Magaña and drummer Agustin "Gus" Magaña, who have carefully curated a unified collective of musicians that when together, are sure to ignite the dance floor with their energetic performance.
