Metroplane is a duo featuring British electronic powerhouse Alex Metric and Belgian nu-disco producer Aeroplane. These two party-starting DJ’s started collaborating after an impromptu back-to-back set while on a cruise in Asia. The crowd loved it. Since then, they’ve played in London, Paris, Istanbul, and Set Out Festival in Kokomo Beach, Turkey.
Their 2016 debut EP, Metroplane, gained support from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Triple J, Dancing Astronaut, and MixMag. Following their debut, Metroplane released another club hit called “Bahp.” During the summer of ‘16, Aeroplane teamed up with Purple Disco Machine on “Sambal” released via Spinnin’ Deep, which racked up a quick three million streams on Spotify and is still lighting up dance floors to this day.
