Mewn have released a trilogy of EP's back to back, using this process to hone their creation of sonic landscapes that often delve into the school of art rock, but are informed hugely by the structure and emotional clarity of the pop song. As summer 2024 approaches Mewn are putting the finishing touches to a body of songs that will constitute their debut LP. A record that is set to combine the parts of their early EP's and make them into a far greater whole.
The band will be taking their sound, reminiscent of the likes of Big Thief, Angel Olsen, Father John Misty and early Arcade Fire, onto the road across the UK and beyond in Summer and Autumn 2024 whilst working on the LP which is set to launch them into a new space entirely.
