Mickey van Seenus (they/them) is a Los Angeles based artist and performer who produces homemade, lo-fi dreamscapes.
After moving to LA in 2013, Mickey found their way to dance music and the industrial sounds of the city. The rave scene as well as the late-night/leather/BDSM community became a distinct influence both personally and artistically.
Their collaboration with Delroy Edwards, under the guise ‘Earth to Mickey,’ led to a 2019 EP release by the name of Brace and Bit. The collaboration propelled van Seenus’ entrance into the electronic music community of Los Angeles, and is followed by their 2021 debut EP, ‘Creature Comfort.’
