“SUMMER DREAM” marked Miguel Escueta’s return to music after seven years—a release that wasn’t planned, but simply had to be written.

Born from moments of quiet reflection, “SUMMER DREAM” was raw, honest, and deeply felt. Miguel returned to the studio alongside longtime producer and bandmate Juni Devecais, with Mikel Miller on sound engineering. The track featured Mateo Escueta on lead guitar and Paula Castillo (Ourselves the Elves / Memory Drawers) on bass.

In October, Miguel followed it up with “Pangako ng Bukas,” a collaboration with close friend Champ Lui Pio, vocalist of HALE. Released in time for Mental Health Awareness Month, the song was created in partnership with Mental Health PH, amplifying messages of hope, resilience, and compassion. A music video directed by Gab Gucci, with Pat Rodil as director of photography, accompanied the release.

Released through Big House Records and presented by Liga Artist Group, these songs signaled the start of a new creative chapter. Since then, Miguel has re-signed with his former management, The ALV Talent Circuit, marking a return to a familiar team as he moves into this next phase of his career.

A new single drops on January 20, with an album currently in the works and slated for release in Summer 2026.
