I'm a songwriter, composer, arranger, and producer. My musical abilities range from vocals, playing keyboards, and bass.
I fell in love with music and performing when I was four. I auditioned to be in a musical theatre company. Even though I was the youngest one chosen, I was able to experience recording, performing live concerts, and being on live TV. I thought that was so fun.
At the age of sixteen, the song I wrote and performed won first place in the Kenny Rogers Roasters "Musika,” on which I got a full scholarship at the prestigious University of Santo Thomas, Philippines.
During my college years, I was involved with different avenues of music. I was playing keyboards and doing vocals for multiple professional bands. In 2006, under Warner Music Philippines, I released an album a year later. My self titled album "Jacob" was all written and co-produced by me. The single "Naghihintay" became a nationwide hit in the Philippines. In 2015 I released Mundong Imposible as a single under Warner Music Philippines and Vertical Brew Music. In 2016 Naghihintay feat <a href="spotify:artist:5ARszAxExBCstgC0cLXK4J" data-name="Curse One">Curse One</a> was released with the same label.
In 2017, I wrote and produced “Nasayang Lang” for <a href="spotify:artist:1YlibpAvhJBbMZMBwN1KGv" data-name="The Juans">The Juans</a>. “Nasayang Lang” was nominated for 2017 Wish Pop Song of the Year. In 2018, I also Produced “ Umaga” Album for <a href="spotify:artist:1YlibpAvhJBbMZMBwN1KGv" data-name="The Juans">The Juans</a> under Viva Records. I am also the composer of "Lumalapit" and "Umaga", included in the same album.
Currently, I am continuing to work with different artists producing and composing music.
