miida
Formed in the fall of 2019 by guitarist and composer Mizuki Masuda—formerly of the now-disbanded rock band negoto—and drummer sugawara, miida began as a collaborative project. After sugawara’s departure in 2020, it evolved into Masuda’s solo endeavor. In December 2024, the band officially re-launched as a trio with the addition of bassist Makoto Abe (formerly of Za Ningen) and drummer Gen Hikosaka (formerly of RAMMELLS).
Blending Masuda’s distinctive songwriting with the groove crafted by two seasoned band members, miida now offers a fresh and singular sonic identity—signaling exciting new possibilities ahead.
