Emerald, a Tokyo-based band formed in 2011, embodies the essence of Tokyo's current vibe by infusing their sound with a mix of Jazz, neo-soul, R&B, and Japanese pop-rock influences. Their second album, "Pavlov City," featured on official music distribution service playlists, catapulted them into the spotlight. The track "Moonlight" from the subsequent mini-album "On Your Mind" earned a power push on a major radio station, while their studio live performance on TBS radio received an enthusiastic response.
