Belgium-bred loud rockers Millionaire -- <a href="spotify:artist:0reXPQRhalgsK2uFU9OcNF">Tim Vanhamel</a> (vocals, guitar, keyboard, programming), Bas Remans (bass), Dave Schroyen (drums), and Aldo Struyf (guitar, keyboard) -- were formed in 1999 by <a href="spotify:artist:0reXPQRhalgsK2uFU9OcNF">Vanhamel</a>, former guitarist of <a href="spotify:artist:6WW8jsiHjYvuGmTKmRCnzD">Evil Superstars</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3zMir00BoCKhwNTjlT61KN">dEUS</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:02uYdhMhCgdB49hZlYRm9o">Eagles of Death Metal</a>. After recording their first album, Outside the Simian Flock, in 2001, the band was noticed by <a href="spotify:artist:03xb2BUdIFzuRQ6o88yfCB">Josh Homme</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:4pejUc4iciQfgdX6OKulQn">Queens of the Stone Age</a> while Millionaire was opening for <a href="spotify:artist:6I96egIonnFBY26MprKYKb">Masters of Reality</a>. <a href="spotify:artist:03xb2BUdIFzuRQ6o88yfCB">Homme</a> asked Millionaire to support <a href="spotify:artist:4pejUc4iciQfgdX6OKulQn">QOTSA</a> on tour, and when it came time for Millionaire's second album, Paradisiac (2005), <a href="spotify:artist:03xb2BUdIFzuRQ6o88yfCB">Homme</a> was found in the production chair. ~ Kenyon Hopkin, Rovi
