In an image obsessed age where the artist’s appearance can be a defining feature - MIO encourages us all to put the music first. Leaving us with the question - who really is MIO?
'High On Me', ’Lost’ and 'Wasting Lies' were the initial releases from the now released debut-EP, 'So what do we do now'?' now complete with two additional songs, ’Nude’ and ’With Love’. So what do we do now..? A question many of us ask ourselves in relationships...The EP tells that story. “I haven't had that many relationships,” MIO explains. “This EP tracks my first big one. When it was over, I wondered if I was going to feel the exact same feelings whenever it happened again, all the way through my life. I wondered if I’d always feel the same pain. But when that pain subsided, I realised with some relief that however many times it happened, I’d never feel the pain forever. I’d always fall in love again. It would never really be the end of the world. Even if it felt like it.”
So what do we do now'? is out now 2019 accompanied by the mini-film showing a relatable journey between a young couple based on new love, struggles & ultimately, love lost. ♥
