MJOLNE is the solo project of Mjolne, drummer of the Norwegian black metal band Mactätus. Since the last Mactätus release back in 2002, it has been quiet in terms of new music from these Norwegians over the last couple of decades. Over time Mjolne felt the urge to creat music again, and has over the last couple of years worked with some new material which has resulted in the debut album Through Veils of Time released i february 2025. Musically MJOLNE has in many ways continued where he left off a couple of decades ago, with melodic black metal incorporated with orcestral and acoustic elements.
