Englishman Jonathon Tye and Australian Peter Smith met in London, where they formed the ambient-techno outfit MLO in the mid-'90s. After recording two EPs during 1996 (Two Voyages and Garden), the duo released their debut full-length Plastic Apple later that year. After its release, the group appeared to stall as Tye spent much time working with his solo project <a href="spotify:artist:6V7M8HuNv3C9IcOinkia1R">Twisted Science</a> and on the roster for his Lo Recordings imprint. ~ John Bush, Rovi
