Brought up on a diet of 90's and early 00's dance music, UK-based producer Moki produces various flavours of electronic music inspired by the music that they grew up loving, with their own personal spin thrown on top; combining elements of Electro House, Trance, Midtempo, Techno, and even Hip-Hop.
Starting in 2009 at the age of 11, using a synthesiser on a DS and any given opportunity to make music on school computers, they started releasing music at the age of 16, experimenting with various genres, production methods and aliases, before settling with 'Moki' in 2016.
Since then, they have released their music on a variety of prestigious record labels, like Tasty Network, Exobolt, and most recently, mau5trap.
After taking a 'none-too-brief' hiatus, they returned to the fray in late 2023 with their latest single with fellow producer Gus Turner "The End" with various projects that they've been cooking up in the meantime, including a single that's been in the works for half a decade, a cinematic sci-fi/Jean-Michel Jarre inspired LP, a new instalment of a collaborative live album, and something entirely new.
