"A young voice with an old soul"—meet Monica Rocha, a Chicana artist bringing the past to life with a modern twist. Her sound is rooted in her Inland Empire upbringing and Southern California’s soulful summer nights. “Cruise nights and car shows—that’s my world,” she says. “Classic cars and timeless music gave me the best of both worlds.”

Influenced by The Temptations, Earth, Wind & Fire, Marvin Gaye, and Tammi Terrell, Monica’s debut single, "Laughing Boy," from her upcoming EP, adds her unique touch to Mary Wells’ 1963 hit.

A regular vocalist with the B.B. Wolf band—a close-knit group of family friends—Monica captivates live audiences with horn-heavy, crowd-pleasing performances. Despite her stage presence, Monica reveals that overcoming stage fright was a major step. “I was terrified of the spotlight but took a leap. People responded, and it was a turning point for me and the band.”

Her viral solo clips on Instagram led to a recording contract with Joyas Musicales/Silent Giant Entertainment. Monica’s music resonates with a cross-generational audience, uniting classic music fans and new listeners with a voice that connects past, present, and future. “I’m loving every moment,” she says. “This truly is an amazing dream."
